This Melaleuca forest covers an area of 850ha and is a typical submerged forest of the Hau River region. Most of the Melaleuca trees here are over 10 years old. In addition, there are many other rare and precious animals and plants living.

Long Xuyen floating market
Coming to An Giang tourism, it is impossible to ignore the opportunity to explore Long Xuyen floating market. The market usually meets from about 5am to 8-9pm daily. Every morning, this floating market is crowded with boats full of fruit and many other items running back and forth, creating a very interesting scene. You can rent a boat to visit Long Xuyen floating market for about 200,000 VND for 2 people.

Binh Thien crossroad
Binh Thien crossroad is the name of one of the largest freshwater lakes in the Southwest. This lake is about 500m long and 3000m wide, located right next to the Cambodian border. You can rent a boat to tour around with a ticket of about 150,000 to 300,000 VND for 40 minutes.

Vinh Te Mountain
Vinh Te Mountain, also known as Sam Mountain is a mountain named by Minh Mang King to remember the merit of Thoai Ngoc Hau - who had great merit in digging Vinh Te canal. On the top of Mount Vinh Te there are many flamboyant trees so in the summer, the whole mountain is dyed red by the flamboyant flowers. In addition, coming to Vinh Te mountain, you also have the opportunity to visit Ba Chua Xu temple - a temple which has been recognized as a historical monument at the national level and the tomb of Thoai Ngoc Hau.

In An Giang, there is a very special village called Chau Doc floating village. You just need to run back to the Hau river from the center of Chau Doc town. This is an area of many houses floating on the water, stretching for several kilometers and is a fish farming area. 

There is no road at Chau Doc floating village. People in the village have to use boats and junks to move. All the daily activities of family members take place on a raft about 4m wide, 7 to 8m long.
