On September 28, the Saudi Ministry of Interior released a statement saying that Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif, the minister on September 27, passed the new rules, which identified 19 major penalties. The rules will help ensure that visitors and tourists to the kingdom are aware of the law and are concerned about public behavior as well as complying with Saudi laws.

Accordingly, men and women are required to wear appropriate clothing and refrain from showing public affection. Women are also free to choose the right outfit.

Saudi Arabia police officers will be the sole agency responsible for monitoring offenders and issuing penalties. Violators have the right to appeal to the General Rules Department and appeal to their penalties.

The ministry's statement stated: The kingdom also encourages tourists to become familiar with the law of behaving in public to avoid penalties, and hopefully welcomes people from all over the world.
