Seoul is one of the most vibrant tourist cities in Asia, attracting many visitors in the world by a combination of tradition and modernity. Here are suggested destinations for travelers.

Gyeongbokgung Palace

Seoul has 5 main palaces, of which Gyeongbokgung is the largest and most important palace. This is a complex of Korean palaces and ethnology museums, often compared to China's Forbidden City. Many tourists choose this place to take photos with hanbok. Especially, if you wear Korean costumes, you will get free admission.

Gwanghwamun Square

The square is located in front of Gwanghwamun, the main gate of Jing Fu Palace. At the square it houses the monument of King Sejong, the creator of the Hangul alphabet, as well as many other important inventions.

Chandeokgung Palace

Changdeokgung, also called Changde, is the second-largest palace in the city. The highlight of the palace is the forbidden garden with many temples, trees, and miniatures. In the spring, the gardens are dyed pink with cherry blossoms, and the fall is a reddish-yellow color of rows of leaves.

Bukcheon Hanok Village

Located between Gyeongbokgung Palace and Changde Palace is Bukcheon Hanok, a picturesque village with 400 traditional houses. It is bustling with small cafes, restaurants, souvenir shops, and crafts. In addition, visitors can also sip teacups in the traditional shops of the village.

Bukhansan National Park

With an area equivalent to the US state of Kentucky, South Korea has 22 national parks. Bukhansang is one of them, located on the outskirts of Seoul. Visitors can climb to enjoy the fresh air and panoramic city views from above.

Gangnam District

Since Psy's Gangnam Style song, the Gangnam district began to become a tourist attraction, especially for K-pop lovers. It is flawed to come here without visiting the Coex shopping center, taking pictures in front of the Gangnam Style statue here.
