Instead of decomposing, the desert sun burned trees into black bone. The dry climate makes the stems indestructible. The bare branches of trees stuck for hundreds of years amid the swamp of black coal turned white clay under the heat of the desert. To get here, you have to use specialized vehicles to cross the high sand dunes. The ghost look of the valley has lured visitors coming here to check-in.
