Traveling in spring Kyushu drifting among flowers

Shirakimine Plateau, Nagasaki

The Shirakimine Plateau lies halfway up the Mt. Gokahara hill, offering great views over the Isahaya plains, Isahaya bay, Unzen mountains, Ariake sea, ... Ikeda Lake, Kagoshima

Ikeda is the name of the largest lake in Kyushu, the lake has a diameter of 3.5 km, the deepest point is 233m. The blooming canola flower season in this region is the earliest in the whole country, starting in December and ending in early March. The poetic landscape of Lake Ikeda, millions of canola flowers and the famous Kaimondake volcano have long been the ideal spring vacation destination for Kyushu.

Dazaifu Tenmangu Temple

Dazaifu Tenmangu Temple houses a holy plum tree named Tobiume and more than 6,000 plum blossom trees on the temple grounds. Kumamoto Castle, Kumamoto

Jozenji Temple, Fukuoka
