Recently, Nature Conservancy announced the winning works in the annual photo contest. The photo of a fisherman in Hon Yen, Phu Yen, spreading a fishing net by photographer Le Van Vinh, from Vietnam, has excelled over many opponents to win the first prize in the category of People in the wild. The work is called Dance on the sea.

Nature Conservancy is an environmental-based non-profit organization founded in 1951, with a presence in 72 countries to address climate change, wildlife protection, sea, and land conservation. The winner of the excellent prize is a photo named Sea Lion, recorded in Monterey Bay (USA). The author has to wait for 3 consecutive days to capture this rare beautiful moment.

The competition is divided into 5 categories: Wildlife, People in nature, City and nature, Water and Landscapes. Here are 2 second and third prize winning photos in People and Nature. The first photo depicts an African refugee from the Congo floating in the waters of Guanabara Bay (Brazil).

Nature Conservancy's 2019 photo contest recorded a record number of entries of up to 121,774 photos from 152 countries and territories. The first prize in the Wildlife category, called Hope, captured a polar bear in Svalbard, Norway, by photographer Fernando O'Farrill.

The remaining awards in the Wildlife category vividly represent the natural world. Second prize is a picture of a chestnut warbler singing in the faint light of the forest. The photo is called Silhouette of the song.

A photo of the Big Fish in the ocean by Alex Kydd, Australian photographer, won first place in the Water category. Above is a whale shark swimming in deep water off the coast of Ningaloo (Australia).

Winning in the City and Nature category goes to Jay Huang's Golden Gate Bridge, from the USA. The dense fog enveloping the bridge creates a beautiful magical moment captured in the image. First prize in all categories received a $ 500 gift card from sponsor Delta Airlines.

The second and third prize of the same category respectively was a shot of a small city in Georgia at night by Yevhen Samuchenko and a picture of a California sea lion "taking over" the city of Astoria (USA).

In the Landscape category, photographer Colin Ronald's Great Jump work captures the moment when a skier goes down the mountainside in Slovenia winning first prize. The second prize belonged to a picture of Hutt Lagoon, Western Australia, taken from above.
