Seongsan Ilchulbong Mountain

Seongsan Ilchulbong or sunrise peak was created by volcanic eruptions into the shallow sea more than 4,000 years ago. This mountain is part of a UNESCO natural heritage complex.

Visitors should reach the top of the mountain early in the morning to see the sunrise. Also when you come here, you should go for a walk or ride horse around the slopes, enjoy the beauty of nature.

Hallasan mountain

Located in the national park complex of the same name, Hallasan volcano is the highest mountain in Korea with an altitude of 1,950 m above sea level. In addition to visiting Hallasan volcano by trails, visitors can admire the beauty of Baengnokdam Lake. Another destination is the Gwaneumsa Temple, the oldest Buddhist temple on the island built from the Goryeo period.

Manjanggul Cave

One of the largest lava caves in the world, Manjanggul has a length of 7.2 km and a ceiling height of 30 m. Here, the temperature always maintains at 11 - 21 degrees C. Formed between 200,000 - 300,000 years ago, the cave is an underground world with lava stone pillars of many shapes. It is also home to about 30,000 curved wing bats and cave spiders.

When coming here, visitors can admire the unique textured tunnels along with the lava columns of many shapes. Especially the tallest lava column in the world with a height of 7.6 meters.

Seongeup ethnic village

Once the capital of the Cheongeui - Hyeon tribe, the Seongeup ancient village is one of the places to preserve and conserve Korea's ancient culture. Upon arrival in the village, visitors will admire an open-air museum with 600-year-old houses built of lava stone. The housing complex also has a vegetable garden, a kitchen, a barn or an ancient jar.

How to get to Jeju?

To get to Jeju Island, you can fly to Seoul by airlines, then connect flights from Seoul to Jeju. With direct flights, you can choose airlines like Cathay Pacific, China Southern Airlines with the price ranging from 10.5 to 11.5 million VND for round-trip tickets. When traveling to Jeju Island, the appropriate means of transportation is the bus. The average price for a trip to the city center is VND 90,000.
