Hanoi: Hoan Kiem Lake Walking Street has been operated back since September 18

Accordingly, following the direction of the People's Committee of Hanoi, the Steering Committee for the prevention and control of covid-19 Hanoi epidemic at the meeting on September 15, 2020, the organization of activities of walking street space in Hoan Kiem district (including walking space of Hoan Kiem lake area and vicinity; Hang Dao street - Hang Giay - Dong Xuan market; 6 extended pedestrian streets) will be restored back into normal operation.

Ho Guom Walking Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi City will officially resume operation from September 18.

Specifically, the street of Hang Dao - Hang Giay - Dong Xuan night market; 6 extended pedestrian streets in the sanctuary of Hanoi Old Quarter came back to operation from September 18, 2020. Walking space in Hoan Kiem and surrounding areas will be active again from 18/9/2020 (continue to operate from 19:00 Friday to 24:00 Sunday).

To ensure activities to serve walking space in the district and Covid-19 epidemic prevention, the People's Committee of Hoan Kiem district will work closely with the city departments to have plans and implementation according to the assigned functions and duties, in order to organize well the walking space activities in Hoan Kiem district.

Hanoi reopened the Hoan Kiem pedestrian street, but still strictly followed the direction of the Government on Covid-19 epidemic prevention.

In addition, local authorities will also regularly inspect, as well as strictly handle violations, ensuring the requirements for Covid-19 epidemic prevention in accordance with the regulations of the Government and the People's Committee of Hanoi City.
