So beautiful Vietnam frames make viewers surprised

This morning, September 24, at the Vietnam Military History Museum (Ba Dinh, Hanoi), the awards ceremony and the opening of the 9th Tourism Art Contest was held.

In the framework of the activities celebrating the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam tourism industry (July 9, 1960 - July 9, 2020), the General Department of Tourism held the National Tourism Art Photo Contest 9th edition "Explore Vietnam" and the Clip Contest introducing Vietnam Tourism with the theme "Vietnam NOW".

The two competitions have effectively contributed to the propaganda and promotion of the culture and image of the country and people of Vietnam; strengthening photo and video archives for Vietnam tourism promotion activities. The competitions also encourage the public to participate in composing and publishing tourism images and clips; thereby contributing to raising awareness of the community about the role of tourism, attracting international tourists to Vietnam, and promoting domestic tourism activities.

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Trung Khanh - Director of the General Department of Tourism, Mr. Nguyen Duc Xuyen - Editor-in-Chief of Travel Magazine, Mr. Dinh Ngoc Duc - Director of Tourism Market Department, and other delegates.

At the awards ceremony, General Director of Tourism Department Nguyen Trung Khanh said: The Organizing Committee has received 15,610 entries from 1,118 authors from 63 provinces, including 14 foreign authors living in Vietnam. The contest works depicted a beautiful and diverse picture of Vietnam Tourism with many angles and vivid colors around topics such as cuisine, islands, landscapes, cultural heritage, daily life, discovery tourism, traditional craft villages, festivals ...

The first prize is the work "Boat of flowers" by Tran Minh Luong.
The second prize is the work "In the Mist" by Nguyen Quang.

"The contest works have described the beautiful, diverse picture of Vietnam Tourism with many angles and vivid colors around topics such as cuisine, islands, landscapes, cultural heritage. , daily life, discovery tourism, traditional craft villages, festivals ... ", assessed by the Council of Judges. The organizers have awarded 13 awards for excellent photo works.

Third prize is the work "Dancers at sea" by Nguyen Tien Trinh.

In addition to the photo contest, the General Department also held a clip contest with the theme "Vietnam NOW" from May 15 to June 15, 2020. The Organizing Committee has received 59 works from 28 domestic and foreign authors. The entries showcased beautiful landscapes, telling inspirational, creative, fun stories, and interesting experiences on the journey to discover the beauty of the country, people, culture, and destinations in Vietnam. 

Each clip leads the viewer to experience the flow of space and time from the highlands with Mu Cang Chai terraced fields; through the cave complex in the Phong Nha - Ke Bang World Heritage Site, to Ho Chi Minh City with vibrant life; or the lulls and settlements of the ancient capital of Hue and the ancient town of Hoi An, ... all are excellently expressed by the authors under the eyes of those who experience travel.

The jury has selected 11 works for the award, and according to the organizers, all the winning works will be used to promote tourism promotion programs, to visitors in Vietnam and internationally know about Vietnam - a very beautiful country.

The exhibition of 181 excellent works of the photo contest took place from September 24 to 30 at the Vietnam Military History Museum (Ba Dinh, Hanoi).
